ZipFit Insoles

ZipFit insoles are ready-to-wear replacement insoles designed with a dynamic heel cup molding system that supports your heel, lower ankle, and arch, giving continuous comfort and protection from the ground up. Stabilizing your heel bone and lower ankle joint in a neutral alignment allows your arches and forefoot to adapt and move more naturally. Built for every activity, every shoe, and every foot, ZipFit insoles cushion each heel strike so you can outlast your longest days.

Tech Features

Heel Cup = Support

Each time you apply your weight, the dynamic cupping action provides stability and comfort, creating a deeper and narrower supportive shape.

Neutral for every Arch

ZipFit Insoles deliver a balanced, all-day comfort with support that adapts to every arch height.

Tried and Tested

Designed by ZipFit Founder, Sven Coomer, this insole was first produced in 1989 under the name "SoleMate", and has been used and adored for over 30+ years.

Pairs with any Footwear

ZipFit insoles were designed to be worn daily to reduce stress, fatigue, and injury in every activity, in any shoe (including your ZipFit Liners).

Wide by Design

ZipFit insoles are intentionally wider than other stock footbeds to provide more stability, and will form to the width of your foot with continued wear.

Built for Comfort

Designed to prevent heel and foot twisting, slipping and blistering in your shoes and boots - on even your longest days.

I bought some new (rather expensive) shoes that really hurt my feet. I took a close look and the memory foam insole took up half the space inside the shoe, so I ripped them out. I went to a running shoe store and unfortunately bought an expensive custom insole. Much better, but there were still a couple of very hot spots. I already had the Zipfit Legacy insole in my boot liners, so I came back here and chose the Zippy because it seemed space was a consideration. The shoes now fit perfectly, and no more hotspots. From now on, this is my first stop for insoles.

I'm loving these for skiing. I thought I might just use these for ski touring, but I'm using them in my resort boots too, and even swapping them into my street shoes. They fit great inside my Zipfits and are gonna be skiing with me everyday this winter!

What is a drop-in insole?

Drop-in insoles are replacement footbeds that are designed to fit a variety of feet and shoes and offer heightened support and foot alignment. Insoles were made to provide a variety of benefits, including increasing comfort and arch support in daily wear, relieving foot and joint pain, providing support to decrease injury risk, enhancing athletic performance, and more.

What size should I order?

Choose the footbed that corresponds to the your shoe size. If between sizes, it’s best to size up and alter them if needed.

Can I alter them?

You can trim the footbeds to length if you are between sizes. Check out the Trim to Fit Instructions video.

What types of shoes can I wear these in?

ZipFit Legacy Insoles were designed to fit in all shoes and all sports, including your ZipFit liners. They can be dropped into any shoe for any activity to increase support, comfort, and healthy foot positioning.

How long do they take to break in?

In general, your insoles should be broken in after about 10 hours of walking with them. We suggest walking in them for a few hours prior to wearing for a full day of heavy activities. If you’re unfamiliar with wearing footbeds, expect a light pressure at the back of the arch until worn in.

How long do they last?

ZipFit Legacy Insoles are made with intention and without planned obsolescence, like ZipFit innerboots. Constructed using an EVA Cork and natural leather top sheet, these respond well to heat, and will adapt to the form of the foot to get better over time. They will last you for as long as a pair of shoes last, if not much longer.

My feet are hurting after continued wear. What should I do?

ZipFit Legacy Insoles may provide dramatic improvements and relief in comfort and support. However, our insoles are not a substitute for professional medical examinations, core and corrective orthotics as prescribed by licensed physicians and podiatrists. If ZipFit support is not comfortable we recommend a thorough foot examination by your podiatrist. The sooner you act, the better your chances for relief.
